Breed Info

Description

The Peke-a-poo is a cross between the Pekingese and the Poodle. Pekepoos are friendly and affectionate, though some dogs may give off a haughty nature of the Pekingese. They can be courageous and would make an excellent watchdog, but they can be a bit on the yappy side. Pekepoos are smart but can also be stubborn. In order to train them effectively, you must a way to motivate them. In that same vein, they are not easy to housetrain. You should reward them lavishly.

Exercise/Energy Level

The Pekeapoos have a low activity level and easily adapt to the owner's lifestyle. They should receive a short walk to exercise them each day.
